With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Columbus Lee Shifflett of Warm Springs, Virginia, born in Hot Springs, Virginia, who passed away on November 15, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Layton O'dell Shifflett and Mary Pauline Graham Shifflett; and his brothers, Jim, Frank and Leonard Shifflett.
He is survived by: his close friend Jeanette Bryant of Covington, Virginia; his children, Columbus L. Shifflett, Jr. of Warm Springs, Kathi S. Hensley (Allen) of Hot Springs and Melvin D. Shifflett (Missy) of Hot Springs; his grandchildren, Whitney Shifflett of Hot Springs and Landon Hensley of Radford, Virginia; and his siblings, Robert Shifflett (Charlotte) of Hot Springs, Jerry Shifflett (Sarah) of Hightown, Hugh Shifflett (Diana), Ralph Shifflett, Ron Shifflett (Lumina), Randy Shifflett (Sue), Jody Shifflett, Jeannette Dellinger (Ray) of Bakersville, NC, Patricia Watson (Frankie) of Fairmont, WV, Edna Beam (Tom) of Kerikeri, Sally Howard (Jim) of Hot Springs and Martha Peters (Eddie) of Hot Springs. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
