She was predeceased by: her parents, Clay Puffenbarger and Eulla Eckard Puffenbarger; and her brother Clay Puffenbarger of Covington, VA.. She is survived by: her husband Harry Augustas Simmons; her daughter Linda Simmons of Warm Springs, VA; her sister-in-law Emma Simmons of Hot Springs, VA; her niece Kim Kay of Warm Springs, VA; and her nephew Steve Simmons of New York.
