She was predeceased by: her husband William L. Fleming, Sr. (Charles W. Townes, Sr.). She is survived by: her sons, Charles W. Jr. (Lena), Theodore Antonio "Tony", Martin "Tutti" (Stephanie), Marvin and Stacey Townes (Carolyn). She is also survived by six grandchildren, host of great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
