She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Gray and Burfoot Starkey Ward, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Penn Riggs; her sons, Jamie Riggs and Glenn Riggs; her grandchildren, Annie Riggs (Sana Kamneva), Jacen Riggs and Jacob Riggs; her siblings, Buddy Ward (Anne) and Sandy Statham; and her siblings-in-law, Billy Riggs (Faye) and Sandy Harrell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
