It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Charles Gwaltney Sr. (Wakefield, Virginia), who passed away on January 29, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter A. Gwaltney, Sr. and Josephine L. Clary; his children, Roy C. Gwaltney, Jr. (Yvonne, Patricia A.), Angela S. Pond (Michael, Darrell Scarboro), Jennifer Gwaltney and Elizabeth L. Gwaltney; his grandchildren, David Gwaltney, Tiffany Vick, James Price, Jr., Phillip Pond, Cara Cutright, Dustin Cutright, Austin Wiggs, Ashlyn Wiggs and Autumn Wiggs; his brothers, Walter A. Gwaltney, Jr. and Sidney B. Gwaltney; and also, P. O. Box and Norfolk.
