We bid farewell to Nancy Mae Allen of Wakefield, Virginia, born in Jarratt, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 21, 2024 at the age of 80. Nancy Mae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Edward Allen and Velma Louise Tanner Allen; and her siblings, Patsy Loretta Allen Walker, Connie Marie Allen Corbitt and Ronnie Lee Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Louise Matthews Hobbs, Sheri Denise Matthews Wysong (Jeffrey), Kevin Rae Matthews (Alice Gail) and Georgia Diane Zazworsky Anderson (Josh Searl); her grandchildren, Tiffany Morrison (Jacob), Casey Wysong, Ryan Benson, Allison Rae Francis (Derrick), Raven Taylor, Bradley Wysong, Kevin Rae Matthews, Jr. (Desiree), Christian Jaur'e (Rachel Page), Devin Matthews (Lexxy Lewis) and Zander Bryan; and her brother Leonard Edward Allen, Jr. (Debbie). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Wakefield Fire Department.
