She was predeceased by: her significant other Howard Emmett Drewry, Jr.; her parents, James Ernest Pittman, Sr. and Mary Lovell Pittman; and her niece Marjobe Lovell Gay. She is survived by: her children, Gayle Drewry Simms and Michael Howard Drewry (Amy); her grandchildren, Chris Simms (Jennie), Sara Harsh (Jacob), Kristen Drewry (Anthony), Carla Thompson (Aaron) and David Drewry (Margaret); her great grandchildren, Oliver, Ezra, Tucker, Graham and Demi; and her siblings, James Ernest Pittman, Jr. (Carole) and Betty Ann Pittman Gay.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wakefield United Methodist Church (205 W Church St, Wakefield, VA 23888).
