She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Kitchen and Maggie Rawlings Kitchen; her husband Samuel Lee Britt, Sr.; her siblings, William Kitchen and Jackie Sullivan; and her son-in-law Terry Mason.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel Lee Britt, Jr. (Doris), Cindi Britt Mason and Sandra Britt Vasser; her sister Huntus Duke (Lemuel); her grandchildren, Sammy Britt III (Lindsay), Christopher T. Mason (Nina), Michelle Mason and April M. Stephens (Jacob); and her great grandchildren, Terry, Candice Mason, Stormi, Taylor Stephens, Kennedy and Chase Britt.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or American Cancer Society.
