With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Archur Louis Bailey (Wakefield, Virginia), who passed away on December 25, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Sarah Jane Mayfeld; his parents, William Archur Bailey and Alma Morris Bailey; and his sister Elizabeth Bailey Owen (Oscar Owen). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jolliff Leech; his close friends, W. Louis, Jennifer Bailey of Wakefield, Neil, Carrie Lynn Bailey of Williamsburg and Brian Connolly of Elizabeth City, NC; his grandchildren, Eric, Victoria Bailey of Wakefield, Elizabeth Bailey of Alexandria, Samuel Atwell of Greenville, NC and Cooper Bailey of Williamsburg; his great grandchild Archur Lee Bailey; his stepdaughter Vicki King Parker; and also, Stevie, Caroline, Tina, Tessa, Brandy and Terry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
