He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Francis McCarthy, Sr. and Virginia Vale Storms. He is survived by: his wife Renee Dugas Etheredge; his siblings, Brian Thomas McCarthy (Gail), Denis McCarthy, Mary Ellen Taormina, Margaret Ann Maddox (Peggy), Georgia and Colleen Schultz (Alan); his children, Timothy Francis McCarthy III (Laura Reid), Virginia Beach, Patrick Joseph McCarthy Woodstock (Sharon), Mary Dugas Parnell (Jeff), Kevin Etheredge McCarthy (Alison) and Beach; and his grandchildren, Patrick of Columbia, John-Thomas Parnell of Columbia and Catherine Dugas Parnell.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Church of the Holy Family (1429 N Great Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Family (1279 N Great Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454).
