Rita Theresa touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer Martel and Blanche Martel (Binette); her son Phillip J. Dion; and her sisters, Cecile Fanjoy (Paul), Margaret Sevigny (Robert) and Pauline Trolinder (Kenneth).
She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Dion; her daughters, Belinda Graeff (James) and Melissa Dion; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Jamie Graeff, Kieran and Caelis Chifokoyo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church (1968 Sandbridge Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
