With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Payne Curtis of Virginia Beach, Virginia, born in Radford, Virginia, who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth H. Payne and Charles D. Payne; her son Sky Charles Curtis; her parents-in-law, Bernice Curtis and Dale Balducci; her aunts and uncles, Helen, Stan Compton, Martha Helms, Harley Helms, Ralph Compton, Jenny and Bill Burrowbridge; and her cousins, Ralph Compton and Virginia Burrowbridge.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Curtis; her parents-in-law, George Curtis and Doris Balducci; her cherished college roommate Mary Pomerson (David); her siblings-in-law, Lynn, Cathy Curtis, Lori, Dean Walls, Forrest, Nancy Curtis, Craig and Linda Curtis; her cousins, Mary Page Payne Compton, Jim Payne and Donald Compton; and her nieces and nephews, Scot Casto, Ryan, Lindsay Burrowbridge, Adam, Sarah Burrowbridge, Steve, Nancy Compton, Gary, Sonja Compton, Jill, Rob Loy, Brian Walls, Russell, Amy Walls, Taylor Walls-Carr, Whitney Walls, Jada, Wayne Fingleton, Chad, Desiree Curtis, John Curtis, Charles, Emily Curtis, James, Chelsea Curtis, Crystal Curtis, Cassandra and Andrew Murray.
