We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2024, at the age of 91, Maxey Lee Bryant (Virginia Beach, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Maxey Lee had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Maxey Lee may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Nancy Leigh Bryant; his grandson John Robert Riggs; and his son-in-law Jeffrey Frank Skolnick. He is survived by: his brother John "Fletcher" Bryant; his daughter Elizabeth Hamilton Skolnick; his grandchildren, John Hunter Skolnick and Taylor Elizabeth Skolnick; his daughter Anne Peyton Bryant; and his grandchild Berke Catak.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Laskin Road Chapel (2002 Laskin Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (8100 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505).
