He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomalta Long and Gerald Gross; his son Joshua Gross; and his mother-in-law Helen Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Lori Gross; his children, Caleb Gross (Jane), Kathryn Chandler (Matt) and Caroline Gross; his grandchildren, Freddie, Rosemary, Edith, Alethea, Petra and Sophia; his brothers, Dee Gross and Marc Gross; and his father-in-law Troy Lucas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Church Oceanfront in remembrance of Jeff's faith and servant leadership.
