He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert E. Dupree and Beulah Hill Dupree Tolson; his wife Patricia Pillar Dupree; his daughter Carolyn Dupree Boardman; his grandsons, Nicholas and Jamison Dupree; his brothers, Herbert Ray Dupree, Sr. and Paul Spence Tolson, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Robert J. Pillar, Sandra Pillar and Gene Wallace.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Dupree (Doug Iberg) and Linda Dupree Shankle (Wade); his children-in-law, Mark Boardman and Ruth Belasco; his grandchildren, Stefanie Boardman Dutcher (Justin), Amy Shankle, Wiatt Shankle (Sarah), Manon Shankle and Alana Boardman; his great grandchildren, Ashlynn and Makayla Dutcher; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Pillar, Linda Pillar Wallace, Audrey Nimmo (Tom), Lynda Tolson and Carlton Pillar. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Graham Funeral Home (1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Riverside Memorial Park (1000 E Indian River Rd, Norfolk, VA 23523).
