With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Skaltsounis Burroughs (Virginia Beach, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2024 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Skaltsounis and Katy Skaltsounis of Norfolk; and her sister Katherine Wynberry. She is survived by: her husband Larry T. Burroughs; her sons, Adam L. Burroughs and Burton E. Burroughs; her grandchildren, Jaxson and Kannon; her sister Stella; her brother-in-law George Christie; her nephews, Christopher Christie (Petra), Jason Christie and Nicholas A. Arrington; her great-nephew Nicholas L. Arrington; and her cousins, Eleni, Michael and Nicholas Skaltsounis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Philoptochos.
