He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Thompson and Isabelle Watkins-Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Nora M. Thompson; his sons, Christopher G. Thompson (Jose) and Kevin Thompson; his grandchildren, Crystal, Amber and Bradford; his great grandchildren, Thailar and Jasper; and his brother-in-law Grover "Groovy" Smith.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Rocky Mount Memorial Park (4454 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
