He was predeceased by: his parents, George Aruthur and Ava Christine Pontious (Scholl); his wife Kelly; and his son Daryl Pontious. He is survived by: his children, Jim Pontious (Sabine), Will Pontious of Virginia Beach, VA and Christine Strong (Robert) of Chico, TX. He is also survived by four grandchildren and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to any veterans organization or to breast cancer research in care of the funeral home.
