He is survived by: his brother Hector; his children, Michele Mercado (Luis Mercado), Amy Garcia (Tyrone Sellars) and Venessa L. Garcia; and his grandchildren, Randall John Nieves, Jr., Kelley Elise Sellars, Bruce Antonio Archer, Giovanni Domenic Archer and Catalina Elly Mercado. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and long-time friends.
