She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Owens and Maud Owens; her husband Augustus Brown; her stepdaughters, Annette Evans, Patricia White, Callie Andrews and Daphne Brown; and her siblings, Frank Owens, Floyd Owens, Dorothy Vango and Evelyn Breathwaite.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Ridley, Sr., Patricia Barnes (Larry), Phyllis Gibson (Larry), Elsie Tatum, Edward Ridley (Gloria) and Tony Brown; and her siblings, Madeline Wade and Mervyn Owens. She is also survived by grandchildren, (43) great-grandchildren, (12) great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
