He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Deyatt Akin Martin and Buena Ruth Benjamin; his close friend Al Bryant; his wife Kathryn Martin; his children, Tamra VanDorn (David) and Chad Martin (Heather); his grandchildren, Amanda Stipes (Marshall), Nathan VanDorn (Grace), Emma VanDorn (Jaysen), Landon Martin and Luke Martin; his great grandchildren, Madison Kathryn, Bryant, Brooklyn and Lucy; his brother Floyd Martin (Ruth); his siblings-in-law, Kay Martin and Robert White (Liza); and his family D. A.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Princess Anne Chapel (3445 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the United Methodist Church (4080 Charity Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23457).
