With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald J Ashton of Virginia Beach, Virginia, born in Ballinger, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ashton and Clara Ashton; his wife Hilda; and his brother Randy. He is survived by: his children, David (Susan) of Huntersville, NC, Mark (Vickie) of Chesapeake, VA and Julia of Virginia Beach, VA; his grandchildren, Ian Ashton, Rob Brezina, Kyle Brezina and Ken Parham Jr.; and his pet Sammy. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
