He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis R. Fentress and Selma Duke Fentress McCook; his aunts, Mary Duke Brown, Esther Duke Meredith and Vera Duke Garner; his brother Robert E. Fentress (Shirley); and his daughters, Brooke Best Fentress and Tracy Dula Fentress.
He is survived by: his wife Gail McCloud Fentress; his daughter Erinn F. Henning (Bruce); his grandchildren, Bodhi and Emmarie; his son Trent Fentress; his brother H. Duke Fentress (Brenda); his nephews, Brandon, John and Zachary; and his niece Barrie Tracy.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Laskin Road Chapel (2002 Laskin Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in his honor be made to the Norfolk Sports Club Scholarship Foundation or the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad.
