He is survived by: his wife Jessie Johnson; his sons, Sean Johnson and Ian Johnson; his siblings, Linda Byse, Cheryl Johnson and Victor Johnson; his nephews, Brian Byse, Daniel Green, Lucas Green and Jacob Green; and also Sandy Johnson. He is also survived by aunts, cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Catholic Church of Saint Mark (1505 Kempsville Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23464). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
