With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anne Revell Gilliam (Virginia Beach, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Anne Revell find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manison Revell and Mozelle Boyce Revell; and her husband William Gilliam. She is survived by: her son Aaron Gilliam of Virginia Beach, VA; and her sisters, Daisy Riddick (Derry) and JoAnne Hainesworth of Hampton, VA. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rehoboth Baptist Church (182 S Birdneck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23451). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Albert G Horton Veterans Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
