He is survived by: his parents, Jim Thornton and Karen Thornton (Sabol) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his brothers, Zachary and Ryan Thornton of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and his grandparents, Thelma Thornton (VanWyngarden) of Rustburg, Virginia, Dennis Sabol, Edwina Barton of Oxford, Anthony and Patricia Fronzaglia (Malloy) of Lynchburg. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.
