He is survived by: his wife Effie Powell Davis of South Boston; his daughter Frances Charlton (Eric); his grandson Jason Owen (Katie) of Aarons Creek; his great grandchild Miah; his daughter Ruth D. Owen; and his sister Shirley Walker.
