She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Sadler and Helen Caudle Taylor; her husband Wayne Thurston "Cotton" Lowery, Sr.; and her siblings, Ernest Sadler, Jr., Helen Sadler Francis and Debra Sadler Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Thurstie Lowery Sherman (Chester), Wayne T. Lowery, Jr. (Lesley) and Amber Lowery Spencer (Casey); her grandchildren, Peyton Lowery, Jackson Lowery, Aaron Clay, Madison "Maddie" Spencer, Megan Young (Ben) and Chester Sherman IV (Christina); her great grandchildren, Walter Young and Louise Young; her brother Randy Taylor; her close friend Billy Comer; and her pet RoRo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
