She was predeceased by: her father Edward Cephas Overbey; her former husband Stephen Alfred Elliott; her husband Robert Hudson Elliott; and her brothers, Cephas and Lawrence Overbey.

She is survived by: her children, Jimmie Allen Elliott (Barbara) of Daleville, VA and Alfred Dean Elliott (Ann) of Virgilina; her grandchildren, Glenda Fralin (Jeff), Katrina Kish (Christian), Laura Arrington (Layne), Erica Willis (Christian) and Stephen Taylor Elliott; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Dylan, Makayla Fralin, Brady, Jackson Kish, Parker and Holden Arrington; her stepchildren, Tommy Elliott (Elizabeth) and Rita Lannon (Bob); her stepgrandchildren, Chris Elliott (Judy), Peyton Harmon (John), Stacy Elliott (Scottie), Ben Elliott (Christy) and Roberta Williams (Bud); her sister Nell Daniel; her caregivers, Phyllis Carrington and Ann Yancey; and her close friend Samuel Parham of Roxboro, NC. She is also survived by 11 step great grandchildren.
