She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Ira Walton Poole; her parents, James Thomas Throckmorton and Katherine Angle Throckmorton; her children, Karen Poole of Durham, NC, Kim Smith, Steven of Shawsville, VA, Kathy Olszewski and Mike of Blacksburg, VA; her grandchildren, Collin Smith, Kara Smith, Katie, Jay Horin and Michael Olszewski; and her siblings, Doug (Elaine Throckmorton), Bill (Betty Throckmorton), Barbara Watkins, Faye (Ray Wilkinson), Nancy Moser and Rhonda (Jimmy Gainey). She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
