She is survived by: her daughter Suzanne Lacks Shotwell (Mark); her sister Carolyn Snow Batten (Bud) of Winston; her grandchildren, Dillon Shotwell (Rebecca) of Alton, Tyler Shotwell of Alton, Madison, Maggie and Camden Collie of Virgilina Three; her great grandchildren, Boone, Luke and Lyla Shotwell; her great-niece Teresa O. Tate; and her close friend Susan Cash.
