He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Billy" Tilley and Lizzie Meadows; his siblings, James, Earl, Danny Tilley and Virginia Jacobs; and his granddaughter Caitlyn Tilley.
He is survived by: his son Larry "Clay" Tilley, Jr.; his grandson Collin Tilley (Patricia); his great grandchildren, Jaycee and Caitlyn Tilley; his sisters, Rosa Weaver of Timberlake, NC and Chrissy Acker (Ralph); and his sister-in-law Linda S. Tilley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
