He was predeceased by: his uncle Red; and his father-in-law Russell "Shine" Puckett. He is survived by: his parents, Ralph "Heiter" Griffin and Betty Forlines Griffin; his wife Jean Puckett Griffin; his children, Bradley Allen Griffin (Liza) and Holly Elliott; his grandchildren, Leah, Anne-Marie and Grayson; his sister Teressa Davis; his mother-in-law Maude Noell Puckett; and his close friend James Bowen.
