Gillis (Urel) of Roxboro; his son-in-law John Shotwell of Oxford; his siblings, Clarence "Lennie" Phillips (Bonnied) of Roxboro, Eunice Ann P. Morris of Virgilina, VA, Judy P. Coghill of Virgilina, VA and Linda P. Howerton of South Boston, VA; his sister-in-law Marion H. Phillips; his grandchildren, Phillip Merritt Gillis, David Urel Gillis, Daniel Wayne Phillips, Dustin Arthur Phillips, Darrell Allen Shotwell and Sarah Michelle Shotwell; and his great grandchildren, Darby Gillis, Jack Gillis, Tristan Shotwell, Michelle Morris and Isaac Shotwell.
