With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Edward Murphy of Virgilina, Virginia, born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on April 15, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Murphy and Ruby Allen Murphy; and his sons, Mark Murphy and Donald Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn N Murphy; his sons, Michael Davis (Susan) of Virgilina and Randy Davis (Teressa); his grandchildren, Michael Murphy, Matthew Davis, Spencer Davis, Melody Davis, Nicole Marshall, Michelle Conner, Brittney Davis, Allyson Davis, Derek Toombs and Mandy Coats; and his siblings, Laura Murphy Conner of Vernon Hill, Bill A. Murphy (Kathleen) of South Boston and Host. He is also survived by Eight Great-Grandchildren.
