He is survived by: his father Thomas Franklin Puryear Jr.; his wife Melanie Hudson Puryear; his son Ian Thomas Puryear; his sister Delores Puryear Honeycutt (Donald Wayne); his nephews, Derek Honeycutt (Becca) and Collin Shotwell; and his niece Kelly Honeycutt Murray (Greg).
