With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita Hogan Talley of Virgilina, Virginia, born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on October 12, 2022 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas and Irene Puckett Hogan; and her brothers, Thomas William Hogan, James Bran Hogan and Carl Edward Hogan.

She is survived by: her children, Crystal Ann Ligon of Clarksville and James Robert "J. R." Ligon of South Hill; her grandchildren, Jonah Ligon, Isaac Ligon and Harley Ligon; and her siblings, Loretta Roberts of Bahama, NC, Wayne Hogan (Sue) of Clarksville and Larry Hogan of Virgilina.

In lieu of flowers, Anita's family asks that donations be made to Lake Country SPCA at PO Box 14 Clarksville, VA 23927.
