He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rose Hale; his daughter Carol Sue Petersen (Nick); his grandchildren, Jack, Jenna, Anthony Wayne Hale, Sean and Savanna Smith; his stepdaughter Leslie Smith; his siblings, Cynthia Caudill and Barry Hale; and his nephews, Nate and Ernie Hale.
