He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Neal Triplett Edwards and Jack Triplett. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Triplett Leachman of Roanoke and William Charles Triplett Jr. (Joan) of Vinton; his grandchildren, Katherine Leachman Shenk (Tyler) of Richmond, Henry Leachman of Arlington and Sydney Triplett of Vinton; and his spouse Cynthia Martin Triplett of North Carolina.
