We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2022, at the age of 79, William R Ward Jr. of Vinton, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Randall Ward, Sr. and Bernice Bryant Ward (Diane Barbour Ward). He is survived by: his close friend Martha Robinson; his sons, Randy Ward (Jaclyn) of Hillsville, Russ Ward of Charlotte, N. C. and Jason Dooley (Barbera) of North Potomac; and his friend Carolyn Ward. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the American Cancer Society.
