Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. Jones and Catherine Price Jones; and his wife Ellen Forrest Dalton Jones. He is survived by: his children, Deborah J. Traskell (Jake), Catherine J. Mospens (Richard) and Tony M. Jones (Karen); and his sister Patti Jones Corne (Jerry). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oakey's Vinton Chapel (627 Hardy Rd, Vinton, VA 24179). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
