He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hewitt and Anna Hewitt; and his son Lawrence John Hewitt. He is survived by: his friends, Donna Hartless and Jeff Jodrey; his brother Drs; his daughter-in-law Gloria Moody Hewitt of Hawkinsville; and his daughter Meri Ann Huddleston.

In lieu of flowers he asks that you remember him keeping Angels of Assisi in mind.
