He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wray and Mable Wray (Cheek); his brother Willard; his sister-in-law Jewel of West Virginia; and his siblings, Jack, Jim, Danny and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, David Wray (Heather) and Kimberly Parrish (Matthew) of Roanoke; his sisters-in-law, Dorinda Wray (Payne) of Elkins, Norma Wray of Roanoke and Nadine Sigmon (Wray) of Rocky Mount, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Kallie, Brody Parrish, Ethan, Claire and Mary Wray of Roanoke; and his pets, Mocha and Prince. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Flowers would be appreciated, as that was a love of Wayne's, but in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Vinton Baptist Church or the Mt. Pleasant Lions Club.
