It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vestine Chewning (Vinton, Virginia), who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Burch and Asley Burch; and her husband Abner A. Chewning Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Linda Williams (Wayne), Janet Shell (Woody) and David Chewning (Cheryle). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Vinton Church of the Brethren or to your favorite charity.
