We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2024, at the age of 72, Shirley Waldron of Vinton, Virginia, born in Roanoke, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Shirley departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shirley. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Robert Jackson, Sr. and Clara Mae Long Jackson; her husband Norman Monroe Waldron, Sr.; and her siblings, William Jackson, Jr. and Betty Joe Harless.
She is survived by: her son Norman Monroe Waldron, II; her grandchildren, Isaiah Waldron, Alyssa and Elijah Waldron; her brothers, Donald Lynn Jackson and Ronald Lee Jackson; and her close friends, Clark Dent and Lisa Graham. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
