He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul B. Belcher and Bessie Mae Bowles Belcher; his brothers, Irvin Belcher, Mike Belcher and Paul Belcher; his foster brother Carson Witt; and his sister Betty Belcher Noble.

He is survived by: his wife Rose R. Belcher; his sisters, Barbara Karnes, Marietta Meador, Juanita Barbour and Evelyn Welch (Gordon); his friends, Poppy, Ryan Reeves and Megan Reeves; and his nephew Donald Barbour.

Memorial donations may be given to Vinton Baptist Church food bank or the ALS clinic.
