It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rhoda Foutz of Vinton, Virginia, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lew Zernie and Doris Nell Barton. She is survived by: her husband Steven W. Foutz; her daughters, Amy Kawamura (Tim) and Amanda White (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Kamren Kawamura Landry (Ian), David White and Alyssa White; her great grandchild Ember Landry; her sister Marlene Martin; her sister-in-law Joyce Foutz Glidden (James); her nephews, Toby Martin, Austin Martin, Garth Martin and Bradley Scott Glidden (Kristy); and her niece Kara Glidden Porch (Andy).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oakey's Vinton Chapel (627 Hardy Rd, Vinton, VA 24179). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Barnhart Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Stewartsville-Chamlisburg Volunteer Fire Department, 7797 Jordantown Road, Vinton, VA 24179.
