We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2023, at the age of 94, Phillip Scruggs (Vinton, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Cleveland and Mary Magdeline Scruggs. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Boggs Scruggs; his children, Jeannie Scruggs Corey (Dan), Melissa Maxwell and Eric Hatter (Tami); and his grandchildren, Mary Hannah Wheeler (Lucas), Chrissa Kate Garber, Carl Maxwell, Alec Hatter, Ben Zeigler (Courtney) and Rachel Zeigler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Flowers appreciated or consider making a donation to the "Blanket Warmer Fund" to purchase blanket warmers for the residents at the VA Veterans Care Center in Salem, VA.
