She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Tyler and Irene Tyler (Jones); her siblings, Archie (Opal Tyler), Arthur (June Tyler), William (Blanch Tyler), Lynn (Barbara Tyler), Price Tyler, Katherine Dillman, Annette Bartlett and Martha Adams; and her former husband Ray Whitaker.
She is survived by: her sisters, Jane Leonard and Helen Burnette (J. T.); her brother-in-law Morgan Bartlett; her grandchildren, Samuel Whitaker (Megan), Patrick Atkins (Leanne) and Coty Whitaker; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon and Rhett Whitaker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
