She was predeceased by: her parents, James Rudolph Porterfield, Sr. and Grace Louise Robertson Porterfield; her brothers, James Rudolph Porterfield, Jr. and John Wayne Porterfield, Sr.; her son Kenneth John Hancock; her brother-in-law Maynard Roscoe Owen; and her close friend Betty Fisher.
She is survived by: her sister Dorothy "Dot" Owen; her niece Linda Dianne Puffenbarger (Carl); her nephews, Mike Owen and John Wayne Porterfield, Jr.; and her close friends, Della Witt and Trish Fisher.
